• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience. 
• Experience with database management in Kubernetes clusters. 
• Proficiency in Amazon RDS and its various database engines. 
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex SQL queries. 
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimisation. 
• Proficiency in Python for automation tasks. 
• Familiarity with database security best practices. 
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures. 
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and in a team. 
• Certification in PostgreSQL or related database technologies (optional but a plus).
