Database Administrator in DTEK, TOV, Energetichna kompaniya

We are currently looking for a Database Administrator who will be responsible for the management, maintenance and security of databases in the company.

Skills:

• DBMS administration: PostgreSQL (expert), MSSQL Server (expert), MySQL, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, MS Fabric
• Cloud technologies:Cloud Databases (Azure, AWS), AWS RDS for PostgreSQL (deployment, configuration, monitoring), database resource planning in AWS
• High availability and replication:Database High Availability, Replication
• Backup and recovery: Backup/Recovery, Database Export/Import, creating DRP plans
• Design and optimization:DBMS installation and configuration, data schema design, performance optimization, query plan analysis, working with by indexes
• SQL development:writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers (SQL, PL/pgSQL, PL/Python, PL/Perl)
• Integration and migrations: cross-platform migration, development of procedures for loading data from various sources
• Automation and monitoring:creating scripts to automate administration and monitoring
• Operating systems:Windows Server+, Linux
• Experience in critical environments:optimization of requests in cooperation with the development team, performance analysis, incident resolution in AWS RDS
• Knowledge of the English language at the level of Intermediate
• The presence of Microsoft certification will be a plus
