Data Steward in PrivatBank

Purpose of the position: development of Data Governance initiatives in the Bank, support of the Data Catalog, cooperation with data users.

Main responsibilities:

• Promotion of Data Governance among Bank employees of various levels and departments
• Development of the Data Catalog - enrichment of metadata description (tables, fields and other data assets)
• Building data lineage (Data Lineage), i.e. description of information about where it came from and how it was transformed (from source to end point)
• Data research in the Bank, search and classification of personal data
• Creation of a single source of banking business terminology, standardization and unification of terms
• Building methodologies and processes, their further introduction into the data ecosystem

Basic requirements:

• Higher education
• 2+ years of work experience in a bank
• 1+ year of any work experience with data (as an analyst, etc.)
• Understanding SQL query language. The ability to read complex scripts, as well as the desire to develop these skills
• Understanding the key business and IT processes of the Bank
• Understanding the processes of maintaining the Data Catalog and Data Governance (will be an advantage)
• The ability to build mind maps (in particular, for business processes)
• The ability to quickly master new software
• The ability to organize meetings and conduct their
• Ability to work with the Google office suite: documents, spreadsheets, presentations
• High level of communication skills, including verbal communication and business correspondence
• Attention to details. The ability to look for patterns
• Intermediate (B1+) English skills (it will be necessary to communicate with foreign partners)
