General information about the employee role:
Under the general control of the Senior Program Specialist, the Program Assistant is responsible for the correctness and completeness of the provided information, ensuring the timely and effective implementation of the department/project plan, and the preservation (archiving) of all assigned and received documents accordingly.Description of General Responsibilities:
- Support program teams, emergency managers and regional administrators in the aggregation of data at the regional level;
- Work closely with program teams to develop databases to track output data;
- Support Database manager in coding and digitizing tools;
- Facilitating and supporting the data cleaning process for regional data;
- Modifying the database system based on queries;
- Conducting data analysis and preparing reports for each type of activity;
- Ensuring storage and archiving of collected data.
Internal relations:
Thoseworks closely with the Database Manager, Regional Director and Emergency Managers

Qualification requirements:
Education and major:
Degree in information security, cyber security, computer science, information technology, statistics, social science or related field.
Professional experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in the field of data security or information security. Experience working in non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international organizations or working with sensitive beneficiary data will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge required:
Knowledge of security regulations data (GDPR or Ukrainian legislation on the protection of personal data).
Understanding the principles of safe work with data in humanitarian operations.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to present information clearly and structured to both technical and non-technical audiences.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formulas, tables, data validation, data analysis tools).
Practical experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI will be an advantage.
Good understanding of control systemsdata mining and data reporting processes.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to explain data security principles in a clear and practical manner.
English language:
salary PIN in the amount of EUR 1495-1575 - depending on qualifications (before taxes) on probation term + 3% after the probationary period;People in Need offices are equipped with all the necessary security and energy independence facilities with continuous Internet access.
