About the role: Weare looking for anexperienced and dynamic Data Scientist with acurious and creative mindset tojoin the data analytics team. Asa Data Scientist, you will work closely with other Scientists, Product Managers and Engineers todeliver best inclass scientific models and algorithms deployed atscale. You will bepart ofateam building the company’s cross-channel TVproduct, and enabling the company tocontinue its growth inanexciting and dynamic market. You will spend lots oftime doing exploratory data analysis, aswell ascollaborating with teammates todeliver top-notch forecasting models and optimization algorithms. This position islocated inLviv, Ukraine. The core team islocated inLviv and primarily works remotely, with occasional team meetings inthe office. Requirements: —4+years ofexperience using mathematical optimization tosolve real-world problems inindustries like logistics, manufacturing, finance, orsimilar fields. —BA/BS inOperations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Quantitative Social Sciences, Bio Statistics, Statistics, orother technical fields with astrong focus onmathematical optimization. —Excellent understanding ofmathematical optimization techniques including linear programming, mixed-integer programming, convex optimization, global optimization, heuristic methods, etc. —Excellent understanding ofoptimization model development process including problem formulation, constraint development, solver selection, parameter tuning, sensitivity analysis, etc. —Excellent knowledge ofthe Python data science stack with anemphasis onoptimization libraries (e.g., PuLP, Pyomo) for model building, and experience inbuilding production-ready optimization solutions. —Working knowledge ofSQL for data querying and manipulation, and familiarity with optimization tools such asCPLEX, Gurobi, oropen-source solvers. —Agility and eagerness tolearn— excited about learning new domains/approaches. —Ability tocommunicate complex optimization findings and blockers clearly toboth technical and non-technical audiences. Itwill beaplus ifyou have: —Advanced Degrees. —Experience with programmatic advertising. —Full proficiency with SQL. Responsibilities: —Construct models for cross-channel viewership measurement that inform the prediction and optimization ofmedia campaigns. —Design, build and fine-tune machine learning models for prediction (e.g., ofimpression capacity, offuture media consumption, etc.). —Perform exploratory data analysis leveraging all data sources related toour cross-channel offering (demand side and supply side). —Work with the Engineering team inthe expansion and continual enhancement ofthe cross-channel TVdata platform. —Keep apace with the latest ondigital advertising research and practices. —Must beable tocommunicate with U.S. based teams.
