Job Description

As the primary Data Scientist on our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven projects. This role involves hands-on work in Supervised Learning, Entity Resolution (ER), Record Linkage, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), and with other data science disciplines. You will work along side a high performing team of software developers to engage in business analysis, collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, and implement scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Learning : Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, particularly focusing on Supervised Learning and Entity Resolution (ER) , and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Data Analysis : Conduct comprehensive data analysis and business analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify actionable insights.

• Integration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into our broader technology ecosystem.

• Data Science : Serve as the lead for data science initiatives, guiding the team through the complexities of data science and machine learning projects.

Essential

• Tech : Proven expertise in Python and data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc).

• ML : Demonstrable experience in machine learning, with a focus on Supervised Learning and Entity Resolution (ER), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Analysis : Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools.

• Modelling : Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture principles.

• Cloud Tech : Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including Azure Machine Learning.

• Education : A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, focusing on data science or machine learning, or equivalent work experience.

• Communication : Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Native or fluent English required.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with big data technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
