DRB is currently seeking a highly skilled Operations M< /strong>Meal Operations Manager, who will join the team in Kyiv.
The Operations Manager is expected to travel extensively (approximately 50% of their time) across regions activities of the DRB, which include Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumyand possibly others as the operational coverage of the DRB expands.
About the job
Meal Operations Manager will work together with the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of the DRB MEAL team. The Operations Manager will work with specialists and junior specialists of the MEAL team to implement MEAL activities according to minimum standards and project plans. The Operations Manager will regularly visit DRB's regions of operation to ensure that MEAL staff are supervised, trained and adequately supported in their ongoing work and that MEAL's performance meets relevant standards and donor requirements.
The Operations Manager will have duties and responsibilities throughout the country and will ensure compliance with DRB procedures and guidelines.
Team management:
- Responsible for personnel management of employees who, as a rule, work in the same field of activity.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely implementation of agreed work plans and tasks set by the senior manager.
- Hire and fire employees and carry out certifications (under the close supervision of the manager of the next level).
- Coordinate the daily activities of the data monitoring and evaluation team members at the data evaluation sites.
Quality management:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the planof data monitoring and evaluation teams to achieve highly effective and cost-effective program strategies and activities.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings, review meetings and closing meetings to highlight cross-project components aimed at replicating best practices and enhancing synergies between projects or programs.
- Collaborate with regional data monitoring and evaluation team staff to regularly update measures and indicators in accordance with internal procedures and donor reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to implement the results of the data monitoring and evaluation team, such as baseline and terminal evaluations, needs assessments, etc., in line with donor requirements and DRB program priorities.
Program Data Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Work with the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to develop and continuously update the accountability strategy and manage the implementation of program-wide feedback and grievance mechanisms.
- Collaborate with the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to ensure that DRB team members support all accountability efforts, particularly to beneficiaries and according to international standards, actively involving beneficiary communities as equal partners in development, monitoring and evaluation of DRB projects.
- Provide support to the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in the development of systems, tools and templates that improve monitoring of program outcomes and quality, generate quality evidence on program outcomes, and facilitate and ensure the use of data for decision-making processes.
- Develop and manage evaluations in accordance with DRB's evaluation policy, from development of TOR to advising management on approval of final report and dissemination of evaluation results.
- Support the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, Program Managers, Program Manager and others in presenting key findings to the senior management team for further development.
Capacity development:
- Provide timely and quality advice to program managers and staff as needed;
- In collaboration with the Data Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, develop capacity development plans and implement them through training, ongoing support and supervision.
- Manage the data monitoring and evaluation team, including regional officers and assistants.
- Actively support and advise on the recruitment and training of data monitoring and evaluation and related program and project staff

About you:
