Job DescriptionData Governance Engineer (Azure: Microsoft Purview + ADF)ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMUST have experience in Azure cloud, working on Data warehousing involving Azure Purview and ADFProven experience in Microsoft Purview for data governance, data cataloging, and data lineage.Strong expertise as a Data Engineer or similar role in a data-driven environment.Proficiency in Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.Solid understanding of data governance principles and frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data governance frameworks leveraging Microsoft Purview to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.Configure and maintain data lineage, classification, and cataloging capabilities in Purview to provide end-to-end visibility across enterprise data assets.Develop and maintain pipelines for integrating Purview with data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, etc.) using tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
