CHI IT Academy is an educational platform from the CHI Software company where under the guidance of experienced practicing mentors, a person of any age and profession can master technical and non-technical IT specialties.

We are now inviting mentors for the "Data Engineer" course to conduct lectures at our academy.

Professional experience:

• Have 5+ years of work as a Data Engineer;

• Experience in configuring ETL processes and transferring information between systems;

• Experience with databases (relational and non-relational).

Pedagogical skills:

• Experience in conducting lectures, seminars, webinars or corporate training;

• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple words;

• Ability to support and increase team motivation.

Personal qualities:

• To be a cool programmer and a good teacher or a good programmer and a cool teacher;

• Responsibility, sociability, ability to work in a team.

Technology stack:

• Programming languages: Python, SQL;

• Workflow orchestration and automation: Apache Airflow

• Big data processing: Apache Spark

• Cloud platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Data management tools: Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi
• Data storage systems (Data Warehousing): Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
• Docker containerization
• CI/CD
• Git

< b> Additional criteria (optional):

• Data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI

What you will need to do: < /b>

• conduct training in a group of students. One group = training for 2 months;
• explain, help students, answer questions in Telegram and the educational platform of the academy;
• check homework and provide feedback;
• participate in company events;
• inspire and motivate during training.

How classes with a mentor take place:

• twice a week in the evening online via Zoom/Google Meet;
• duration of classes - 1.5-2 hours;

Working conditions:

• timely payment;
• part time, remotely.
