Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves transferring data from various systems to the Franpos platform, utilizing our built-in tools, Excel, scripts, and custom code to extract data from JSON and other formats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, script writing, and experience with different data formats and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data transfers from external systems to the Franpos platform using our built-in tools and scripts.
• Develop custom scripts and solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, particularly from Excel and JSON formats.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data migration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during the migration process.
• Document data transfer processes and create user guides as needed.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security during and after migration.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data migration, ETL processes, or related fields.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) for data extraction and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and experience in writing scripts for data manipulation.
• Experience with JSON and other data formats.
• Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data migration in a SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of pet retail industry data and processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services, particularly Azure.
