About us

We are a dynamic Ukrainian startup that was created a month after the full-scale invasion. Our ambition is to make the company a world leader in the field of using AI to manage physical and informational risks. For that we are currently working on creating a situational awareness platform for the corporate sector which is fully based on the cloud real-time ML infrastructure.

As a Data Backend Engineer , you will be responsible for building and maintaining data layers for a complex situation awareness platform for AI-Driven Risk Management. You will ensure that data is processed, stored, and available efficiently to meet the needs of various business applications and analytics.

Requirements:

• Data Engineering: strong experience in design and development of robust data ingestion pipelines, Data Lakes, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Proficiency in Python: strong expertise in Python programming language, including knowledge of Python 3.x features, standard libraries, and best practices.
• Cloud Solutions: Experience working with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS. Familiarity with cloud services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataflex.
• Docker and Containerization: Comfortable with Docker and container-based deployments. Ability to build, manage, and deploy applications using containerization technologies.
• Web Technologies: Solid understanding of modern web technologies and popular web frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.3
• API Integration: Experience integrating ML models with different services and applications through RESTful APIs. Knowledge of API design and implementation best practices.
• Infrastructure Architecture: Able to participate in architectural discussions about infrastructure design and service architecture. Understanding of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including ML-engineers, software engineers, and DevOps.
• Adaptability and Learning: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
