This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining advanced solutions for data processing services within a large-scale platform. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of highly scalable and reliable cloud-native microservices, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and programming languages. Your Opportunity:● Work cross-functionally with other developers, UX designers, product owners and various Tenable teams to design, develop and maintain cloud services for DataPlatform services.● Promote clear and simple software design while actively driving the team towardbetter practices and solutions.● Support a true DevOps / CICD software delivery model.● Promote high quality aimed at areas such as security, reliability, testability and maintainability.● Drive innovation by contributing new ideas for our processes, tools, and technologies.● Coach and mentor junior staff. What you'll need:● B.S. degree in Computer Science or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience.● 3+ years of software development experience.● Experience with SQL and data modeling.● Experience with relational and non-relational data stores.● Accountability for the behavior of your software in production.
