She/he will supportthe coding of data collection tools,data cleaning, data processing, data analysis, and data visualization activities in cooperation withtheIMPACT team in country and in Geneva.This position is intended for people with disabilities only.FUNCTIONSThe Data Assistantwill be responsible for the following tasks:1. Data processing/Data transformation activitiesThe REACH Data Assistant will be responsible for:Coding of REACHquestionnaires and tools for data collection;Providing data analysis support to the REACHoffice including but not limited to data cleaning, data processing, data analysis and data visualization;Providing information management (IM) support to the REACHassessment team including questionnaire preparation and daily IM support during data collection and reporting process;Supporting the development of internal IM procedures and guidelines.2. Capacity building activitiesThe REACHData Assistant will support or conduct trainings in elementary data analysis and data management for non-technicalaudiences(capacity building).3. Internal Communication ProcessesThe REACHData Assistant will work closely with the IMPACT Senior Data Officer, REACH(Senior) Assessment Officers, and the RM for the Sectors Unit in country to guarantee a quality of all REACHproducts.4. Confidentiality and Data ProtectionThe REACHData Assistant will maintain the strictest confidentiality of data and processes. He/she will actively take measures to prevent the unauthorized sharing of information and data.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and necessary within the area of responsibility.QualificationsEducationBachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or any relevant discipline;Technical requirements:MS Excel: advanced usage of formulas, pivot tables, wide datasets.Desirable technical qualifications:Previous experience with mobile data collection tools (ODK, KOBO, Ona) and understanding of questionnaire design workflow;Familiarity with XLS-Form standard;Data processing and analysis experience using R;Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to think creatively in terms of tool and process development and optimization;Flexibility and adaptability to ever-changing needs and responsibilities;Ability to work independently;Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills;Familiarity with the aid system and understanding of donor and governmental requirements is an asset;Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian; andGood command of English (at least Intermediate level B1).Additional capacitiesGood organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to think creatively in terms of process development and optimization.Flexibility and adaptability to ever-changing needs and responsibilities.Ability to work independently.Attention to detail.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.ConditionsSalary defined by the ACTED salary grid;educational level, expertise, hardship, security, and performance.Cosy office in the central part of the city.Flexible working hours.Medical insurance after 3 months of work.Please submit aCV in Englishto apply for this position.
