DATA ANALYST ACTIVITY MANAGER
Doctors without borders / Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international humanitarian organization that provides assistance in more than 60 countries of the world to the population in a difficult situation, victims of natural disasters, man-made disasters and armed conflicts, regardless of their race, religion or political beliefs.

Primary purpose:
Define, coordinate and monitor all data-related activities, including collection processes data, analysis, reporting, monitoring and evaluation in accordance with MSF protocols, standards and procedures to ensure quality health care for patients and their communities and improve public health.
Duties:
- With the support of the epidemiologist, the creation, revision and adaptation of data collection tools according to the project indicators, as well as the coordination of the development, implementation and follow-up of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for documentation. Development and implementation of data quality assurance methods to ensure proper performance and reliability of information, treating all patient information with respect and confidentiality.
- Giving technical support to the medical team and data entry staff in performing routine recording, collection and data entry for selected project indicators in clinics and/or hospitals and/or health care centers. Organize and implement or provide technical support in the creation of monitoring tools for new activities initiated in the project.
- Monthly, quarterly or on request, implementation detailed analysis of recorder data for key project indicators in order to facilitate the definition, redefinition or reorientation of project activities. This will also include analysis of District Cohort Data (DDS), where available. After analyzing, identifying and reporting any new and interesting indicators for review by the medical team for possible follow-up if necessary.
- Management and supervision of data group personnel forquality assurance, including identifying training needs and providing training to staff on data-related issues.
- Planning and control, supported by HR, related HR processes (recruitment, training, appraisal, talent identification, motivation, development and internal communication) data team to ensure the right team is in place in terms of size, capability and skills.
- Participate in meetings and/or trainings as scheduled by the manager or MSF. This includes but is not limited to internal MSF meetings and/or trainings, as well as local, regional or international meetings and/or trainings.
- Monthly , in collaboration with the medical team, prepare and submit summary reports of analyzed data to both MOH and MSF, and prepare and implement MSF's internal monthly or quarterly presentation of medical data, including facilitating team brainstorming and sharing updates to promote dynamism and responsiveness teams.
- Performance of additional activities if necessary and at the request of the manager.
MSF unit features:
- Monitoring and managing data systems and ensuring accurate, high-quality databases of project medical activities:< br/>o Ensure that data coders implement and correctly use data collection tools and provide updates and guidance on revised tools when necessary;
o When new medical activities are launched within the project, the data analysis manager will ensure implementation and proper use of data collection tools to monitor and evaluate the newly started MSF medical activities with the support of the functional manager and immediate supervisor; - Supporting the medical teams in the preparation of medical and operational reports as requested:
o Weekly/monthly medical report – generate weekly medical reports using a template developed by the functional manager, ensuring accurate and timely reporting;
o Create any required medical reports for external partners/participants using the project's medical databases and dashboard developed by the functional manager and in support of the line manager, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the report generation. - Technical support of the project:
o Providing recommendations and developing tools for any operational issues (ie: definition of cohort for chronic diseases ; sequential list for active TB cases, operative studies, etc.).
o Participation in the evaluation and implementation of medical data tools in case of new operations or reorientation of medical strategies. - Technical support in the framework of HR development:
o Support the development of the technical capabilities of the data encoder(s);peer-reviewed and provided;
o Technical support in hiring Data Encoder(s); - Technical support in evaluating Data Encoder(s) in reviewing job descriptions/specific objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:Higher education in epidemiology or public health with advanced training in statistics and epidemiology.
Experience:
Experience with MSF or other NGOs preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in M/Data Management.< /p>
Previous experience managing information about tuberculosis and/or HIV, as well as chronic diseases is an advantage.
Languages— Mandatory ownership in Ukrainian and English (B2) languages.

Terms: short-term contract, with the possibility of extension if necessary, compensations and a social package with health insurance coverage are provided.
