Responsibilities: Making pricing decisions by providing data-driven insights, formulating optimization proposals, organizing experiments and evaluating results Making strategic and tactical decisions based on comprehensive data analysis Perform analysis of pricing and competitive data and provide conclusions and recommendations Assist in managing the collection of pricing and competitive market data, working directly with external data providers to obtain the data needed to build research Participate in the development of methodology for defining key indicators, relevant tables and necessary calculations The successful candidate will have: A technical mindset and a Bachelor of Science degree. Strong knowledge of mathematics and basic knowledge of mathematical statistics 1+ years of experience in quantitative modeling, design or implementation Experience with data manipulation and advanced data analysis Experience with SAS, R, Python and skills with large datasets is a must Applied experience with logistic regression, linear regression, survival analysis, time series analysis, decision trees and cluster analysis Experience working as an analyst/data scientist, preferably in b2b/b2c markets Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for processing and analysis (required) Critical thinking, ability to perceive complex, ambiguous , abstract requirements and break them down into smaller components, schematics, types and characteristics English proficiency at a level not lower than B2 (required) Examples of tasks to be solved: Using market prices and competitor data, develop an understanding of where Xometry stands in the market in comparison with our competitors in terms of pricing Understand the trade-off between price, conversion and long-term value and suggest optimizations to maximize revenue and gross profit Set up and run A/B tests and perform analysis to determine A/B test results Optimize pricing and lead times for customers based on of variable market capacity Working conditions: Full employment Remote work, we provide equipment for work Contract as FOP (3rd group, 5%) Salary (fixed in euros) is discussed with each candidate
