Data analyst in Nacionalna sluzhba zdorov’ya Ukrayini

The National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSHU) is a central executive body that is transforming the health care system by financing medical care for Ukrainians through contracts with more than 5,000 health care facilities and pharmacies throughout Ukraine. 

The vacancy involves work in the development project of funding of health care institutions.

Responsibilities:

writing ad-hoc SQL queries to databases;

analysis of medical and statistical data in the health care system;

analysis of reports by providers of medical services;

analysis of the fulfillment of contract terms by providers of medical services;

development of methodology and algorithms of automatic monitoring;

creation and calculation of a system of indicators;

search for anomalies, cases of unethical behavior of medical service providers;

Formation of periodic analytical reports and reports in accordance with requests;

Development and documentation of algorithms, scripts and technical solutions

Automation of data monitoring

Requirements: analytical thinking, higher technical education (mathematics/physics/statistics/IT), basic knowledge of statistics, experience working with databases, knowledge of basic approaches to modeling data models, knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL), writing queries, aggregations, window functions, query optimization, knowledge of Python (pandas, openpyxl) (knowledge of R or other programming languages will be an advantage), knowledge of Excel (experience of writing macros will be an advantage), experience of automating processes related to data collection and analysis will be an advantage, knowledge of the basics of data visualization, experience working with data warehouses (experience working with big data will be an advantage), ability to work with technical documentation, ability to independently analyze and study existing business processes.
