Data Analyst in GeeksForLess

We are seeking a skilled Data Reporting Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for transitioning our reporting system from an old MySQL database to a new Google BIData system. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports using Looker Studio, Google Apps Script, and Google Sheets and ensuring a smooth transition of existing reports to the new system.

Remote, full-time

Working Schedule: 12.30-21.00 UKR time (15.30-00.00 is preferable)

Requirements:

• Proficiency in MySQL for database querying and management.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript for scripting and automation.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, particularly Looker Studio and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with Google Apps Script for automating tasks and integrating with Google products.
• Proven experience in data analysis and report generation.
• Demonstrated ability to transition reports from one system to another.

• Experience with BI tools and cloud-based data systems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Report Requirements and Implementation:
   • Gather and discuss requirements for new reports from stakeholders.
   • Design, develop, and implement new reports using Looker Studio, Google Apps Script, and Google Sheets.
   • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet the needs of the business.
2. Migration of Existing Reports:
   • Analyze and understand the existing reporting system and reports.
   • Transfer and adapt existing reports from the old database to the new Google BIData system.
   • Test and validate migrated reports to ensure they function correctly and provide accurate data.
3. Report System Development and Maintenance:
   • Develop and maintain a user-friendly reporting system that leverages Google BIData, Looker Studio, and Google Apps Script.
   • Ensure the reporting system is easy to maintain and scalable.
   • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the reporting system as needed.
