Overview

The vacancy involves serving in the communications unit of the National Guard of Ukraine and performing cyber defense tasks.

Responsibilities

• prevention and countering cyber threats
• prevention, countering and detection of cyber incidents and cyber attacks
• configuration and operation of cyber protection systems
• monitoring the implementation of cyber protection policies
• development of cyber protection procedures

Requirements

• knowledge of network technologies
• knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• knowledge and skills of domain controller configuration

• knowledge of virtualization principles and virtualization platforms
• knowledge of types of cyber threats; methods of detecting and countering cyber threats based on the appropriate methodology (MITTRE ATT&CK or other)
• knowledge of cryptography basics
• knowledge of basic authentication and authorization protocols
• knowledge of principles and work skills with the main cyber protection systems: network screen, antivirus, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanner and others
• basic programming skills: Python, PowerShell, Bash and others
• data analysis skills using SQL databases and tables (Excel)
• skills in using auxiliary software: Wireshark, Sysinternals and others
• proficiency in English at a level sufficient to understand technical documentation
• full or basic higher technical education will be an advantage

Terms

• contract service until the end martial law
• transfer of active military personnel of NSU
