Job Description:
DTCare is looking for an experienced and focused curator of art therapy programs to oversee the effectiveness of the art therapy network throughout Ukraine. The role involves ensuring the quality of mental health services provided through art therapy, supporting the professional development of art therapists and collecting key data to evaluate the success of the program. The position requires frequent travel around Ukraine for assessment, training and cooperation with local teams.
Main duties:
- Perform regular monitoring visits to DTCare art therapy programs in different cities of Ukraine (at least twice a year for each location).
- Research, develop and implement assessment tools to determine the effectiveness of art therapy sessions and their impact on participants.
- Train 100% of DTCare art therapists in the proper use of assessment tools. Annual review
- Collaborate with the DTCare management team on the development and implementation of customer feedback forms
- Organize and, if necessary, supervise art therapists' supervision sessions. Ensure all therapists receive at least 12 hours of supervision, 12 hours of continuing education, or a combination annually.
- Collect, summarize, analyze and report program results to DTCare management and stakeholders quarterly.
- Collaborate with local teams to identify issues and recommend strategies to improve service quality.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monitoring and evaluation data to DTCare management.
- Keep abreast of best practices -therapies with an emphasis on trauma recovery and mental health care in conflict zones, participating in at least 12 hours of supervision and 12 hours of professional development courses per year.
- Collaborate with existing partners and develop new ones partnerships by offering capacity building initiatives such as training workshops and professional development sessions for art therapists.
- Actively participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to discussions on program development and improvement.
- li>Take proactive steps to improve the DTCare art therapy program based on observations, therapist feedback, client feedback and other sources.
- Provide partnering information to DTCare network art therapists.
< /ol>Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in psychology , art therapy, or mental health programs.
- In-depth knowledge of art therapy and mental health practices, especially in the area of trauma recovery.
- Experience in supervision or managing therapists.
- Ability to collect, analyze and report.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support and provide feedback to therapists.
- Willingness and ability often travel around Ukraine.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
