Hello! I am Olena - the head of the copywriting department atbodo. From own I know from experience that it is difficult to understand whether your company is your company or not from a standard job description on a job search site. Therefore, my description is as long and detailed as possible, I hope you will appreciate it.

Why am I looking for specialist personally, not HR? We do not have an HR department at bodo. We, managers, form our teams and cultivate corporate culture. I carry out all stages of selection.

Working on three projects: bodo (we write and edit everything about impressions and gifts), bodocard (mostly we read texts about multi-brand certificates for corporate clients) and< span style="font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">bodotravel (we write and edit everything about travel).

  2. Opportunity to learn / improve skills: writing simply and in different genres, editing, time management and self-discipline, working at a pro level in Google Sheets.

  6. Flexible start schedule - we don't care which one you come to. You yourself choose when it's more convenient to come to the office: at 8, 9, 10 or 11 o'clock. Then - you work a 9-hour working day (of which - 1 lunch hour).

  7. Financial stability — official employment from the first day, salary twice a month without delays, 24 days of paid vacation, paid sick leave under the Labor Code.

Now about our requirements for the specialist I am looking for:

  1. Understands what he writes about: knows how to work with factage, technical task. 

  2. Knows for whom he writes and for what purpose. He knows how to present the necessary information to the reader so that the text fulfills its purpose.

  3. Sees the text in the complete product.

  4. Works with different types of texts: applies to both writing and editing. Knows how to structure your work for the day so that the source of inspiration does not dry up and colleagues start their work phase on time. Writes simply, clearly and for people.

  5. Attentive/Attentive to all words, numbers, commas and dashes. Understands all the details if the text lacks any details.

  6. Offers ideas for improving the work of the department, invents tools for more efficient work.

  7. Likes to edit texts - large and small genres.

  8. Be responsible with the text. Your score depends on the number of mistakes.

  9. Prints at a speed of 200 characters. You can check yourselfhere.

  10. No harmful linksdevices (in particular: IQOS, glo, disposables, vapes, etc.).

IMPORTANT: Everyone, including me, works in the office full-time. No remote work or hybrid schedule.

What you will do:

  1. Write texts of various volumes (descriptions of impressions, SEO texts, posts on social networks, newsletters - for bodo.ua andtravel.bodo.ua) — 60% of the time.

  2. Reading and editing various texts of colleagues - 40% of the time.

  3. Work in Google drive and ERP system.

How is the salary formed?

The salary of everyone in the company consists of a rate and a bonus part.

Salaryduring the probationary period:

Bet 20,000 UAH + bonus part 5,000 UAH = 25,000 UAH

The probationary period for this position is 3 months.

Salary after probationary period:

Bet 25,000 UAH + bonus part 5,000 UAH = 30,000 UAH

Bonuses depend on the following KPIs:

  • quality of work (50% bonus) is one of the main nour values. Your actions and inaction should not create "problems" for customers, partners and your colleagues. Each such "problem" is recorded, and the bonus is calculated according to the formula bonus amount/number of "problems". One "problem" within a month does not mathematically affect the bonus, more — it already does;

  • work efficiency (50% bonus). All tasks that you will do have a target time for completion. We add up the target completion time for all the tasks you completed during the month and divide by the number of working hours. All employees during the first 2 months of work easily reach the target efficiency.

About our hiring process

I personally analyze all reviews and conduct telephone and offline interviews. I make decisions quickly and provide feedback (both the continuation of communication and its termination) immediately or the next day.

Only a few days can pass between the response to the vacancy and the receipt of the job offer.

About the team

Our team has 2 copywriters and i am the manager You can easily ask your manager, colleagues from your department or other departments. If you need help, you write a letter to a colleague — and it is the colleague's task to provide an answer and help. None of the colleagues, not even the TOPs, can ignore your letter.

Cover letter and the financial expectations indicated in it are MANDATORY elements of the feedback. So I understand in particular that you read the vacancy.
Having a portfolio and actively working on it will be an advantage for you.
