Currently, we are searching for an External relations coordinator who will be a part of our JDC Ukraine team, will be able to function within the Dnipro region area and in some cross–regional reporting and delegation’s welcoming, playing an efficient role in our organization’s mission.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect and process information on regular and outstanding activities of the JDC-supported organizations with various frequencies (from bi-weekly updates to yearly reports)
- Compile reports in English language and with supporting visual (photo and video) materials
- Select and visit programs' beneficiaries of different ages and types for writing profiles and producing other types of reporting materials (photos, videos, interviews) on them
- Work in close cooperation with colleagues and personnel of supported organizations on receiving information in pro-active manner and as follow-up
- Work with hired professionals/external vendors to collect b-roll and make interview materials following the guidelines of colleagues from corresponding JDC offices
- Stay in contact with overseas colleagues to get background information on potential visitors, delegations, media persons, etc.
- Access the visitors' needs and work out their schedules based on communication with colleagues on the ground, via in-person and other meetings, through home visits to programs' beneficiaries, etc.
- Cooperate with administrative and programmatic departments of the JDC Ukraine team
- Do follow up work re the program, logistics and budget of the visitors Include travel to other locations to cover the events, assist in running area-related projects and serve as back up for colleagues there.
- Work with social media on covering the events sponsored by JDC
Required qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in International Relations/Public Administration/English Philology or other relevant fields
- Proficient level of English (both written and spoken)
- Prior experience in a related field - is preferred
- Familiarity with Jewish community life/organizations - is an asset
- The ability to effectively represent information (both written and verbally)
- Excellent organizational, communication and time management abilities
- Highly motivated and independent person, but a team player at the same time.
- Position is Dnіpro based (candidate should be located in Dnipro)

Joint - an international charity Jewish organization that has been helping people in more than 70 people. are in danger or difficult life circumstances, we provide humanitarian assistance to victims of natural disasters and catastrophes, as well as support a number of various social projects aimed at comprehensive development of Jewish community members of different age categories. K oordinator from external connections , which/which will become an integral part of the Joint Ukraine team and play a key role in the implementation of our organization. Observance ' :
- Collect and process information about regular and outstanding accountable organizations, with different frequency (from updates every two weeks to the annual reports)
- Maintaining constant communication with foreign colleagues to obtain up -to -date information about potential visits to JDC offices and accountable organizations (visits of delegations, media representatives, etc.)
- Pre -preparation and current support of visits to the JDC office and accounting. Logistics issues (along with other field professionals)
- Working with social networks on coverage of JDC -funded activities
The necessary qualifications and skills are required:
- Free Knowledge of English (Writing and Oral)
- Previous experience in the relevant field - is an advantage
- Awareness with the life/organization of the Jewish community in Ukraine is an advantage
- Dominna organizational and communicative abilities. Time Management Skills
