General information about the employee role:

Under the overall direction of the MEAL Research Manager, the MEAL Reporting Coordinator is responsible for the production of high-quality MEAL reporting and analytical products at the mission level. The position ensures accuracy, timeliness and full compliance of all MEAL reporting with PIN policies, donor requirements and established standards. The coordinator leads processes for the consolidation, analysis and interpretation of monitoring and evaluation data, and prepares clear, structured analytical reports and evidence-based narratives to support program team decision-making and accountability. normal">Reporting relationships and interaction with other functions:

The MEAL Reporting Coordinator collaborates with other MEAL team members, as well as with relevant program and operational team members to ensure timely and quality reporting of MEAL activities and results. He/she can coordinate with external parties, in particular with implementing partner organizations, consortium partners, sub-grantees and other interested parties. font-weight: 400">Key Responsibilities:

Supports the development of high-quality data collection tools; 

  • Provides support to MEAL specialists in training enumerators before starting data collection; 

  •  

  • Participates in data quality assurance processes, including verification, consistency checks, and data validation;

  • Reviews arrays of monitoring data and provides structured feedback to MEAL specialists on data quality issues, inconsistencies and potential risks; 

  • Supports the MEAL team in addressing identified data quality gaps and strengthening quality assurance processes across all projects.

  • MEAL data processing, analysis and reporting:

    • Provides high-quality analysis of MEAL data collected through quantitative (surveys) and qualitative (in-depth interviews, observations) methods, including supporting MEAL professionals during analysis;

    • Ensures the consolidation and triangulation of data from various sources in order to form reliable, evidence-based conclusions;  

    • Prepares MEAL reports in English based on quantitative and/or qualitative MEAL data analysis; 

    • Reviews and edits reports prepared by MEAL specialists in collaboration with relevant MEAL staff and the program team to clarify information and fill in gaps to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of reports; 

    • Collaborates with relevant MEAL and program team members to interpret data analysis results, identify trends, outcomes, unintended effects, gaps, risks, and lessons learned related to program implementation; 

    • Supports and translates MEAL reports from Ukrainian to English;

    • Ensures reports meet donor requirements, internal PIN quality standards and established deadlines, paying particular attention to structure, language and analytical logic; 

    • Coordinates follow-up of comments and feedback provided by senior management and other team members, ensuring correct and consistent revisions are made in collaboration with MEAL and program teams;

    • Performs final formatting of reports and distributes final versions to relevant teams, including the Grant Team. 

    Project monitoring and reporting: 

    • Regularly makes trips to the locations of projects for the companyinteraction with partner organizations, beneficiaries and other interested parties, as well as for monitoring activities; 

    • On request, provides support in the preparation of data from MEAL to donor reporting;

    Work experience:

    • 5 years

    English language:

    • High level of proficiency (Advanced)

    Professional / technical competences:

    • In-depth understanding of MEAL principles and experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and training in humanitarian or development contexts.
    • Proven ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis and translate results into clear, reasoned reports in English.
    • Experience with MEAL data collection and management tools (eg Kobo/ODK, Excel, Activity Info or similar).
    • Strong knowledge of data quality assurance processes, including verification, triangulation and validation.
    • Knowledge of donor requirements. reporting and standards is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and writing skills, ability to present complex information in a structured and accessible form.

    Other requirements:

    • The applicant must provide examples of post-distribution monitoring and/or post-intervention monitoring reports (in English) prepared by him personally when applying for the position.
