For more than five years, Veteran Hub has supported veterans as they transition from service to civilian life. Nowadays, we care about soldiers, and equally about their most precious people: family, loved ones, partners and parents.

One ​​of the big areas of our work — psychological. We are currently looking for a mental health project coordinator who will monitor compliance with ethical standards and develop ongoing support processes, coordinate the organization's Ethics Committee, and be involved as a supervisor in working on complex cases.

A mental health project coordinator is a person who:

  • Has project management skills
  • Able to coordinate large teams
  • Has knowledge and skills of business communication and correspondence
  • Shows personal resistance to stressful situations

What needs to be done

  • Form, maintain and update the database necessary for the client to receive psychological counseling services and long-term of psychotherapeutic support
  • Draw a contract between contractors and the hub, prepare report documentation
  • Monitor the sessions conducted by contractors (including the duration and presence of participants)
  • Respond to organizational questions of therapists, help with booking spaces or creating online meetings
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual programmatic reporting of the organization under own direction
  • Analyze mental health services (how- (e.g., client requests, duration of service)
  • Interact with the ethics committee of the organization and timely report violations of ethical standards
  • Participate in informing the community about project activities through the media at the request of the communications department

Qualification requirements

  • Full higher professional education (state diploma)
  • Additional training in project management is desirable
  • Experience in the field of veteran hubs or providing psychosocial support

  • work schedule: part-time (0.5 rates) with a hybrid format - remote format with periodic visits to the Hub (Kyiv);
  • convenient location of Hub's barrier-free space in Podilskyi district (Kontraktova ploshcha), which is also a pet-friendly place.
