The Maltese Aid Service" is a charitable organization that has been with Ukrainians for 35 years and helps overcome life's difficulties. We teach how to save lives at our first aid trainings, provide psychological assistance to people affected by the war, and deliver humanitarian aid to the frontline regions of Ukraine to support local residents. "Keeping the faith and helping those in need" is the constant motto of the Order of Malta, whose immediate organizational entity and successor of the spiritual heritage is the Malta Relief Service.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • Higher medical education or work experience in the field of emergency care;
  • Work experience of 3 years or more;
  • Practical experience in conducting courses in first aid
  • Availability of certificates or other documents confirming professional training in providing first aid assistance;
  • High communication skills, the ability to train groups of different levels of training.
  • Experience of working in international and Ukrainian non-governmental organizations and projects financed by foreign donors will be an advantage
  • Skills in planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks; ·
  • Attention to details and responsibility in working with documentation; 
  • Ukrainian language - fluent English language - level not lower than B1
  • Proficiency in software and operating systems · Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Main duties:

  • Coordination of the work of instructors and volunteers involved in conducting trainings/courses from the first of pre-medical assistance (hereinafter - PDD);
  • Development and updating of training programs and methodical materials;
  • Organization and conducting of trainings on PDD, including processing applications, forming lists of participants, drawing up work schedules, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with the highest standards in the process of organizing and conducting training courses.
  • Organizing and conducting educational events (trainings, sessions, conferences) on matters of providing first aid
  • Coordinating educational activities with the aim of establishing close cooperation with partners, institutions and organizations,
  • Participating in conducting courses on first aid
  • Forming reports on the number and quality of first aid courses conducted in accordance with the established form. Downloading reports for the donor and conducting further communication regarding the reports provided.
  • Supervision of the proper storage, issuance, accounting and use of mannequins, handouts, etc.
  • Compliance with the policies and procedures of the charity "Malta Relief Service" at a high level;
