About the organization
Swiss Foundation for Mine Action FSD is a non-commercial, apolitical and independent organization of any ideology, religion or nationality. The head office of the FSD is located in Geneva, Switzerland.
The purpose of the organization
The main purpose of the FSD is to promote demining activities. In general, the totality of the organization's activities is aimed at alleviating and reducing the social, economic and environmental consequences of contamination from land mines and explosive remnants of war on the territory of Ukraine.
General description:
To comply with Resolution 153 and the order of interaction between institutions and organizations that belong to the sphere of management of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as central and administrative bodies of the executive power of Ukraine and donors on the issue of attracting international technical assistance (further - MTD), conclusion of contracts (contracts, agreements, memoranda, protocols, letters of proposals and approvals, etc.) (hereinafter - contracts) for the implementation of projects on registration, provision (recruitment) of MTD (hereinafter - MTD projects), their implementation, import approval MTD to Ukraine, receipt of cargo, accounting, distribution, use and monitoring of projects (programs) of MTD.
MTD can be involved in the form of:
any property necessary to ensure the fulfillment of tasks of projects (programs) of MTD, which is imported or acquired in Ukraine;
works and services;
financial resources (grants) in foreign currency;
other resources not prohibited by the legislation of Ukraine.
Subject to Financial /To the Administrative Coordinator (coordinating office in the country)
In detail:
- Works on the issue of the possibility of involving MTD, the procedure for its provision, conditions and mechanisms for the implementation of relevant MTD projects;
- Receives from the Financial/Administrative Coordinator documents necessary for registration of MTD projects in the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (hereinafter - SCMU);
- Summarizes project proposals for involvement and use of MTD and formulates relevant requests to the SCMU based on project proposals;
- Receives draft contracts for the implementation of MTD projects;
- Submits for signature documents for state registration of MTD projects in the SKMU;< /li>
- Keeps the original registration cards of MTD projects (programs) and contracts for their implementation; import of MTD.
Project proposal, documentation and Novtraining is written in an arbitrary form in Ukrainian and English, so knowledge of English is mandatory.
