I’m seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Marketing Copywriter (Ghostwriter). This role is perfect for a creative and proactive writer who excels in the tech sector, particularly within startups. You will be responsible for creating compelling, high-quality content that resonates with the relevant audience and supports the marketing strategies. This is a part-time role (≈ 25 hours per week) with the potential to transition into a full-time position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of content writing experience, preferably with a focus on B2B tech startups.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to craft content that speaks to a US/North American audience effectively.
- Demonstrated success in creating high-impact content for startups and C-level executives.
- Strong understanding of the tech industry, particularly SaaS products.
- Experience in developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
- Proficiency in writing for integrated multi-channel campaigns, including email, blogs, social media, and ads.
- Ability to adapt writing style to different formats and audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, stick to agreed deadlines, and maintain high-quality work under pressure.
- Familiarity with the fast-paced, dynamic environment of a startup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft persuasive, on-brand content for various channels and formats, including emails, landing pages, guides, blogs, descriptions, ads, and scripts.
- Conduct thorough research on target audiences and personas to tailor content effectively.
- Develop engaging educational content for social media and blogs that aligns with the brand’s voice and goals.
- Distill complex information into easily digestible and engaging content for various marketing materials.
- Collaborate on developing new content strategies, funnels, mediums, and formats to improve engagement and conversions across channels.
- Ability to independently organize the work process, provide regular updates on progress, and be ready to participate in sync calls a few times a week to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly.
Work Arrangement:
- Start with ≈ 25 hours per week with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role.
- Hourly rate for part-time work (first couple of months), then possibly transitioning to a fixed compensation.
Hiring stages:
- Application (resume and writing samples).
- Professional and cultural interview.
- Test project (copywriting and content marketing strategy). There will be 48 hours given to complete it. The test project is a critical element in making the hiring decision.
