BOTBPeopleUkraine is a non-governmental charitable organization that deals with the fight against tuberculosis in Ukraine. The priority areas of our activity are the defense of rights and the advocacy of systemic changes, both at the regional and national levels in order to ensure equal access to quality, people-oriented services for all people with TB.

Main job duties

• Operative interaction with the organizers of the high-level meeting for the fight against tuberculosis (Secretariat of the National Council for Combating Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS (National Council), Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (CHZ), TBPeopleUkraine, European Coalition for the Fight against TB) and involved parties.

• Coordination of the event preparation process in accordance with the approved concept and format (round table / high-level meeting with online broadcast) and participation in working meetings with the organizers.

• Finalization of the concept, scenario plan and detailed program of the event taking into account: opening at a high political level; speeches by representatives of ministries and agencies with clear messages about their role; presentation and video content; interactive discussion part; signing / adoption of the final resolution.

• Preparation and approval of official invitations of participants (leaders/representatives of ministries, departments and other interested parties whose activities are related to counteraction TV, as well as other interested parties from among national and international organizations) and speakers, presentation and reference materials; accompanying communication.

• Development of the script for the moderator (run-of-show) with timing, transitions between blocks, key points and questions for discussion. Formation of the list of speakers and participants according to the concept of the event.

• Preparation of the project of the final resolution of the event with the determination of the obligations of the sectors and further steps (with further agreement with the organizers).

• Coordination of the preparation of video materials (in particular, video appeals of children / stories of people affected by tuberculosis) in the part of integration into the program of the event.

• Coordination of organizational issues of the event in cooperation with responsible parties; coordination of confirmations of participation of speakers and participants.

• Ensuring moderation of the event or facilitation support of the moderator: coordination of speakers' speeches during the event; monitoring of compliance with the timing and logic of the program; facilitation of discussion with a focus on the formation of practical agreements and commitments; support of the process of adoption / signing of the final resolution.

• Preparation of the final report based on the results of the meeting, including relevant project documentation.

Requirements for candidates

• Experience in organizing, coordinating and conducting high-level events with the participation of state authorities, international organizations and the public sector.

• Understanding public health policy and the tuberculosis control system in Ukraine.

• Understanding the principles of intersectoral cooperation and international obligations in the field of tuberculosis control.

• Experience in the preparation of analytical, informative and presentation materials.

• Experience in moderating and facilitating events.

• Experience of interaction with government structures will be an advantage.

• High organizational and communication skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver results.
