Computer Vision Engineer

We are looking for an experienced electrial engineer to join us on working on a world-class deeptech project. We develop smart autonomous drones for landmine detection in Ukraine.

Your duties will mostly include working with object detection, tracking, dataset collection management, ML models assessment, training and optimizing them for onboard hardware. Most of the ML models will be related to visual segmentation and classification. You will also work with general purpose signal processing, e.g. filtering, denoising, etc.

You will work in a team of top-notch engineers and scientists. The best engineers get stock options.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts related to machine learning
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge of the Python language and machine learning libraries of the Python ecosystem
• Knowledge of the C++ language (at least to port your algorithms on the device)
• 2+ years experience in Computer Vision / Machine Learning
• Experience with some of the well-known neural networks architectures such as YOLO, MobileNet, U-Net, etc
• Experience with remote development on Linux via ssh.
• English: if you can read this, you qualify

As a plus

• PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with drones (Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson etc)
• Experience with training models on mixed data (real and synthetic)
• Experience with Object Detection (preferably YoloV8 or later architecture)
• Experience in solving problems with the tools of “classical” computer vision
• Experience with signal processing/time series (FFT, Wavelet transform, etc)
• Ex-military
