Computer systems engineer in Vega Telecom

Required skills and experience:

• Linux administration experience (Oracle Linux 7/8/9, CentOS 6/7/8/9, Ubuntu). automation
• Basic experience with Ansible
• Understanding backup / restore
• Experience configuring load balancing at the OS level
• Practical experience with HAProxy and/or Nginx (reverse proxy, balancing)

What tasks are for you expect:

• Administration and support of Linux servers
• Ensuring stable, available and secure operation of the OS
• System updates, patch control and EOL
• Configuration and support of HAProxy / Nginx
• Ensuring load balancing and basic fault tolerance
• Incident response and troubleshooting
• Automation routine tasks
• Support of backup and recovery processes
• Participation in migrations and upgrades
• Interaction with other IT teams
• Maintenance and updating of documentation
