Proliska NGO announces a competition to fill the vacant position of computer systems analyst in the city of Uzhgorod.
Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization, which since 2014 has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by military operations in Ukraine.
Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support of the most vulnerable persons affected by military operations; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.
I. Requirements for the competitor:
- Higher education in the field of technical sciences (higher education in the field of information technologies will be a significant advantage).
- Experience in preparing text analytical materials.
- Developed skills in working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word), work skills with Google spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical skills: the ability to analyze and consolidate data, identify trends, the ability to summarize large volumes of textual information, identify key trends, patterns, changes in the context.
- Skills for working with the Kobo Toolbox platform, Google forms (will be an advantage).
- Fluent command of Ukrainian language.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English (level not lower than Upper-Intermediate).
- Experience in conducting business correspondence.
- Ability to work with deadlines, independently organize your working hours.
- Experience in humanitarian organizations (will be an advantage).
II. Description of expected services:
- Assessment of needs for material and technical support of employees and/or service providers of the coordination office and all humanitarian centers;
- Keeping records of computer and office equipment;
- Consolidation of information received from field offices, from profile specialists and from open sources;
- Administration of the organization's existing databases and participation in the development of new ones;
- Configuration and maintenance of computer and office equipment (hardware and software;
- Server configuration;
- Configuration, modernization and administration of the computer network and video surveillance system;
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of operating systems and other software;
- Data collection, analysis and systematization, identification of trends and problematic issues;

- Administration and storage of electronic databases, archives;
- Maintenance of business correspondence;
- Maintenance of a database of recipients of assistance, ensuring the validity and relevance of information;
- Entering information and data into electronic databases and tables, including with the help of Kobo-forms or any other electronic form;
- Ensuring regular monitoring and checking of entered data;
- Ensuring data storage, setting up and maintaining regular backup copies;
- Training and development of staff skills in using the database, conducting staff training in information technologies;
- Performing other orders and tasks of the Employer within the scope of the Employee's job duties, including those directed in electronic form, - in the manner, in the form and in the terms established in such instructions and tasks.
III. We offer the successful candidate:
