During the war, we consolidated resources in the direction of humanitarian and psychosocial assistance to people living in the territories affected by hostilities, we improve the conditions of temporary stay of evacuated residents in transit and host regions.
GOGreenland in partnership with Norwegian National Aid (NPAid) invites a community mobilization specialist for the successful implementation of project tasks, aimed at implementing a space of support for women and girls. The project aims to provide psychosocial assistance, support vulnerable groups of women and girls, ensure their rights to access resources and services in difficult life situations.
Main duties: p>
- Involvement of beneficiaries in the space: organization of meetings and events to attract participants, promoting their active participation in projects and initiatives of the organization.
- Organization and conducting outreach events in communities: planning and implementation of events for local residents with the aim of raising awareness and involvement in the project.
- Performance of administrative work in the space: keeping documentation, preparation of reports, organization of event logistics, monitoring of task performance.
- Communication support with local partners: interaction with local authorities, communities, other NGOs and organizations to provide support for activities.
- Organization of feedback: collection of feedback and suggestions from beneficiaries and the community to improve the work of the project and further involvement of participants.

Requirements for the candidate:
- Higher education (preferably in the field of social sciences, community development, project management or related directions).
- Experience in organizing events, working with communities or mobilization will be an advantage.
- Ability to organize and conduct events, work with different groups of people.
- High communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently, initiative and responsibility.
- Knowledge of local characteristics and community needs will be an advantage.
