PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project “Consortium Response: Providing multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance to the conflict-affected population in Ukraine" is aimed at strengthening the resilience and resilience of conflict-affected individuals in Ukraine through timely access to multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance and information management support.The project provides for integration activities in the selected communities of the target regions with the aim of improving the psycho-emotional state of the beneficiaries and increasing the level of social cohesion in the partner communities.
The target audience of the project's activities is elderly people and people with disabilities living in the communities of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION
Community Development and Integration Activities Specialist (hereinafter referred to as the Specialist) will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships and communication with selected target communities, community leaders, planning and solving organizational issues regarding integration activities, organizing and conducting events in communities, in particular trainings and integration events. The specialist works under the supervision of the Coordinator for Social Cohesion and Understanding style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">and will report to the Project Coordinator and Manager.
The specialist will carry out his activities in a hybrid format. The position involves frequent business trips for direct communication with representatives of the target communities of the above-mentioned areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work autonomously with the scope of tasks and activities determined by the Coordinator for Social Cohesion and Understanding and the Project Manager in the field of social cohesion;
Establish and maintain cooperation with key interested communities, local authorities, partners of the Fund;
Ensure regular and effective communication with selected communities;
Support the resolution of organizational issues regarding the implementation integration events in communities together with the event manager and Program representatives;
Perform offline events (integration events, trainings), provide their moderation and facilitation;
Prepare high-quality and timely reports on the results of integration activities, identify possible challenges in implementation project on the ground and submit this report to the Project Manager;
< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">With the approval and/or mandate of the Social Cohesion Coordinator, to present the project during relevant meetings with communities,at relevant coordination forums with partner organizations and stakeholders;
Maintain regular communication, exchange of information with target communities, representatives of regional teams, specialists of mobile groups, social cohesion and understanding program;
Prepare projects of analytical and monitoring reports in the direction determined by the Coordinator for social cohesion and understanding, as well as documents accompanying these activities;
Monitor the development trends of practice and legislation in the field of decentralization and social cohesion, inform the members of the social cohesion and understanding team about the main changes;
Regularly coordinate the results of activities with the social cohesion and understanding team to ensure the implementation of the direction strategy and/or make changes to it, if necessary;
Support the activities of the Foundation in any other necessary aspects and provide advice to the staff of the Foundation on any social cohesion issues as may be required;
Comply with all relevant policies and procedures of the Foundation, including the Code of Conduct.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Higher education in the field of social work, social sciences, social communications, research on the development of public management and administration, psychology, etc.;
Fluency in Ukrainian, English will be an advantage;
Confirmed experience of working with communities or bodies of local self-government or management and/or coaching experience in the field of social cohesion, social communications, dialogue facilitation;
Experience in mediation, mediation, facilitation will be an advantage;
Experience working with elderly beneficiaries and people with disabilities will be an advantage;
Readiness for business trips within Ukraine;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
Ability to work with a group and individually;
The ability to debug and maintain contacts;
Tall level of self-motivation to achieve results;
Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy;
Fair treatment of all people, lack of favoritism;
Performing duties with gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Ability to work well under pressure and in adverse conditions;
Comply with the Code of Conduct and Foundation Policies.

Contract until December 31, 2025 with the possibility of a one-year extension, depending on further funding and personal performance.
