Communications manager in Everstar

We are the Everstar agency. Our task is to help private companies in the defense sector find talented people and bring Ukraine closer to victory.
Our client is a high-tech manufacturing company that creates solutions for the defense sector. The company is constantly growing, developing, forming management structures and a professional HR function.

Now we are looking for a Communications Manager who will live by info drives, thoroughly understand the principles of Ukrainian and world media, feel like a fish in water in crisis communications, and formulate an agenda from social networks to TV screens.

Main tasks:

• Formulating message boxes, creating infomercials, writing press releases.
• Interaction with representatives of government bodies: establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
• ??Participation in creating content for external communications (video, photo, digital), coordination of filming and interaction with speakers and contractors.
• Advocacy of the company's interests: presentation of the company's position and initiatives in dialogue with state structures, participation in working groups, discussions and public events.
• Interaction with Ukrainian and international media.
• Development and implementation of communication strategy: planning and coordination of external communications in the direction of state and regulatory relations, public announcements, official appeals.
• Crisis communications: prompt response to crisis situations, preparation of official positions of the company, coordination of actions with by the PR team, management and external partners.
• Monitoring of state policy and legislative initiatives: tracking decisions that may affect the company's activities, preparing analytical reports and recommendations for management.
• Supporting corporate reputation: building a positive image of the company in in the eyes of state institutions and the professional community.

Required experience:

• Experience of 3-5 years in the field Government Relations / Public Affairs / strategic or external communications.
• Practical experience of interaction with representatives of government bodies, regulators, specialized associations or organizationsassociations.
• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies in the direction of government and regulatory relations.
• Proven experience in crisis communications: preparation of official positions, coordination of actions with internal and external stakeholders.
• The level of English is not lower than Upper-Intermediate.
