Civil organization "Almenda Center for Civic Education" is looking for a communication manager (Kyiv)
Almenda Civic Education Center is a public organization, the main the focus of whose work today is countering the militarization of the educational space of the occupied territories and the destruction of Ukrainian identity and documenting serious violations committed against children in the conditions of the military conflict.
Among the main duties:
< ul>Implementation of the strategic plan of the CSP "Almenda", updating and implementation of the communication strategy of CSP "Almenda";
Implementation of information campaigns;
Filling and administration of the site (on the Word Press platform);
Publication events, preparation of announcements and press releases, invitations to speakers and participants, support of advocacy events;
Development of visual materials and texts;
Setting the designer's technical task: preparation of infographics, reviews, other thematic materials of the organization;
Setting the technical task, writing scripts for creating informative, explanatory video clips;
Distribution of the digest via email services (Send Pulse, etc.);
Checking Facebook, Instagram advertising settings;
Checking Google Ads advertising settings;
Distribution of informational and analytical materials prepared by the organization's experts at the national and international levels;
Work with the media (pitching, coordination of comments, interviews with organization experts);
Attracting bloggers, opinion leaders to promote and popularize ideas;
Cooperation with the team's SMM manager for the timely release of information products in social networks;
Coordination of communication activities with unions and coalitions, which the organization is a part of;
Readiness for business trips to different cities of Ukraine;
Participation in the planners of the Almenda CSP team and involvement in the organization's activities.
Qualification:
Experience as a communication manager or PR specialist for at least 1 year (experience of cooperation with public organizations, educational and social projects will be an advantage);
Experience in writing and editing texts (announcements, press releases, articles);
Skills in creating visual images for social networks and the website in photoshop, or canva, or figma or any other program;
Experience in setting up advertising on Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads;
Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social networks);
Ability to work with different audiences and create communications for the needs of target groups;
Organizational abilities, responsibility, willingness to take the initiative;
Ability to produce ideas and implement them;
Fluency in the Ukrainian language (literate writing) and knowledge of English not lower than Intermediate level;
Multitasking, attention to detail;
Communication and ability to learn quickly.
Terms of use:
The office of CSP "Almenda" is located in Kyiv. The position provides a paidfull-time employment and periodic presence in the office. Therefore, the place of residence in the city of Kyiv is important.
Salary: The salary level will depend on previous experience and will be determined based on the results of the interview. The trial period is one month.
