Communication manager at Let's NGO

"Let's NGO | Strengthening civic activism among youth" is an educational project for young activists from Ukrainian Professional development". We are working for the sake of the emergence of new GO'shki in Ukraine, which have all the necessary skills and tools for sustainable work and the implementation of quality projects. To do this, we conduct an educational intensive, develop a community of its graduates and run a blog about the public sector. We are supported in this by National Endowment for Democracy (NED).   

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for a creative communicator to help promote our project and strengthen the community through communications. If you love social media, believe in the public sector and want to grow it, then this will be a perfect match.  

What to do:

Form a communication strategy and implement it; 

• Maintain our pages in social networks: create a content plan, prepare posts, stories and videos; 

• Moderate training intensive chats; 

• Launch communication campaigns that will attract new project participants; 

• Create a visual independently or together with designers; 

• If necessary, prepare materials for the mass media; 

• Edit and design presentations, notes, study guides; 

• Involve community members, external experts in content creation;

• Organize collabs with other organizations, businesses. 

• Coordinate photo/video shoots; 

• Plan and keep communication costs under control; 

• Prepare communication reports; 

• Participate in team meetings and brainstorms. 

What we expect from you:

• Do you have experience working as a communicator in a public organization, social project;

• You understand how Insta, Facebook and Telegram work; 

• Write competent, human texts according to Tone of Voice; 

• Can shoot and edit videos;

• You know how to create a visual in Canva/Figma; 

• Understand the basics of targeted Meta advertising; 

• You communicate with a large number of different people without problems; 

• Don't need help with Word, Excel and online forms; 

• Not afraid to express your ideas and propose new approaches; 

• You understand the specifics of the public sector and the pains of the public sector.
