The Eastern Europe Foundation announces a competition for the position of a communication coordinator to support programs implemented by the organization.
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the program's short- and long-term communication strategy, taking into account the goals and interests of key stakeholders, available resources, historical experience and other factors .
- Coordinating communication efforts with key program stakeholders, the implementation team and other programs of the implementing organization to ensure complementarity as well as consistency.
- Planning and implementation of information campaigns.
- Establishing and maintaining relations with the media.
- Preparation of informational materials within the program (press releases, news, articles, information guides, theses for speeches, etc.).
- Planning and organization of public events within the program (press conferences, presentations, briefings, etc.).
- Preparation of official statements, comments, speeches and other public speeches.
- Participation in the annual work planning of the program, monitoring and evaluation processes, reporting; ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the information provided.
- Coordinating the communication activities of the partners of the Eastern Europe Foundation / programs, ensuring their compliance with the requirements of the established branding policy, providing recommendations regarding their communication activities.
- Control over the production of branded / informative materials.
- Execution of other tasks provided for in the annual work plan of the program.
Qualifications and experience:
- Higher education in communications, journalism, international relations or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in developing and executing successful communications strategies with a focus on broad audiences.
- Previous experience as a strategistannual communications for programs financed by international donors is an advantage.
- Understanding the processes in the public sector of Ukraine, the desire to research it, implement activities for it support.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage, mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent skills in speaking, writing, editing, reporting and other communication processes in English and Ukrainian.
