Communication assistant in Laboratoriya cifrovoyi bezpeki

Digital Security Laboratory is a public organization that provides digital security support to human rights defenders, journalists, independent media and other civil society organizations in Ukraine, and also works to create a favorable environment for the realization of digital human rights through analysis and development of recommendations on state policy in the field of media, internet freedoms and governance.

We are looking for someone to strengthen our communications team. The communications assistant will work under the direction of the communications manager to prepare communication materials and help with the presence of Tsyfrolab in social networks and other online platforms.

< span style="font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: underline">Main tasks and responsibilities:

• create publications for social networks and sites, adapt content for different digital channels;

• fill and regularly update the content plan together with the communication manager;

• interact with the audience in direct mail and comments, coordinate with project teams to resolve individual requests from the audience;

• provide communication support for the organization's events;

• help project teams in the preparation of informational materials in Ukrainian and English (mails, announcements, press releases, etc.);

• help in the planning, development and implementation of communication campaigns and manifestations of the organization;

• other tasks from the communications manager.

You are an ideal candidate if:

• have work experience in the1 year of communications experience, experience in the public sector will be an advantage;

• have a perfect command of the Ukrainian language, and English at a level no lower than Upper-Intermediate;

• have a basic understanding of graphic design principles use graphic editors (Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma/Canva);

• < p>you are comfortable working both in a team and independently;

• already have a FOP or ready to open it; span>

• have a desire to develop, delve into new topics, master the field of communications;

• initiative, creativity, attention to detail, responsibility - this is about you.
