Cloud Database Administrator (Azure Focus) in Rework-Space

About Us: We are a dynamic and innovative company seeking a skilled Cloud Database Administrator with a strong focus on Azure. Our projects involve SQL Managed Instance, Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool, and Azure SQL Database.RequirementsResponsibilities:Perform typical DBA tasks while also handling broader infrastructure management duties.Act as coordinator for Global BI Team to different internal IT Departments like Network/Storage and VM Team, ID/Active Directory Team and Security/Firewall teamAdministrate Azure SQL DB.Administrate SQL Server 2019 DatabasesDevelop and maintain scripts in PowerShell; familiarity with Linux scripting is a plus.Utilize basic Python knowledge for database and infrastructure automation tasks.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on cloud environments, especially Azure.Excellent communication skills when coordinating with IT Infra Admins and Global BI Developer TeamsVery good skills in administration of Azure Cloud Databases especially Synapse SQL Pools. Ideally accomplished Exam DP-300: Administering Relational Databases on Azure – Skills Measured (microsoft.com) and See also Microsoft AZ-104Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure and services.Understanding on Azure Cloud Infrastructure. vWAN, Azure Firewall, NSG etc.Understanding on SQL Server Infrastructure (Storage, Network, VMs, Firewalls, ActiveDirectory).Knowledge of Linux scripting; basic Python skills are advantageous.Knowledge in administrating Repositories as well as working (fork, merge) with Code Repositories.
