Claim & Litigation Lead in METRO Ukrayina

• ensures full legal support in litigation process by in-house function (where applicable): preparation of claims, objections to claims, appeals, and control over external advisers,
• organizes and maintains the process of processing the government requests i.e. Prosecutor's Office, Police, Security Service of Ukraine, Chamber of Commerce and Industry etc,
• organizes litigation process in the Company (including developing the matrix for risks assessment and litigation tactics) - through effective usage of external resources or by representing the Company in legal proceedings of all instances,
• represents the Company while criminal proceedings, and settling of major customer claims,
• provides legal support of contracts conclusion process for non-standard situation, involving and leading the business projects,
• initiates, facilitates, coordinates and/or execute the risk assessment and remediation, reporting as per Corporate requirements of the risks,
• analyzes and provides to the business mitigation measures, necessary improvements as a result of litigation, claims, inspections of the Company’s work on the basis of judicial practice and changes in legislation,
• maintains Corporate Legal Reporting from the Company, timely providing Litigation Risks update to the internal team,
• focuses on the use of digital technology and practices to digitalize and optimize the processes,
• organizes and maintains legal support (including training for involved colleagues) in process of governmental inspections as well as ensures timely appealing of it's results where legally possible and justified by business needs.
