This candidate is a highly organized individual who can manage 8-10 clients easily and at the same time lead and manage a fractional finance and accounting team, making sure that everything is attended to and running smoothly.This individual is a highly skilled Financial Operations Executive who will oversee all aspects of financial operations for our clients, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations. This individual will play a key role in strategic decision-making, financial planning, and process improvement initiatives to support our Ecommerce clients’ growth objectives.This is a full-time remote position.RequirementsHas 6+ years of experience in Finance/AccountingHas 3+ years of experience in a Senior Finance role for either:Multiple Companies: managed financial operations and provided strategic advice for 5-10 clients simultaneouslyMultiple Stakeholders: Offered financial insights and operational guidance to various stakeholders within a single organization. Preferably C-suite, founders, and/or board of directorsHas experience with small to medium sized companies (annual revenue of $1M-$50M)Has 3+ years experience in a Senior Finance, Controller or Operations role for Ecommerce/Supply Chain BusinessesHas experience managing internal accounting teams. Has experience leading and managing projects with deliverables, accountability, and a timelineHas experience with client communication, management and presentationKnowledgeable on GAAP and managerial accountingDemonstrated Excel excellence and ability to simplify a client’s existing disorganized financialsQuickbooks Online and related SaaS integrationsComfortable working overtime including weekendsNice to Haves:Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA in finance, accounting, strategy, or operationsYour responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Leading a fractional accounting and finance team for assigned clients - generally serving as clients’ fractional CFOOwning responsibility for accurate and timely monthly financial close and accounting operationsDelivering monthly financial performance reviews for assigned clients - providing them confidence and clarity in their decision makingLiaising with clients to resolve finance and accounting questions and requests - determine appropriate action, scope, prioritization, and delegationContributing to improving our firm’s internal and external processesBuilding and managing execution of SOPs to ensure accuracy, GAAP compliance, and consistency across our client baseManaging and mentoring junior team - supporting their ability to provide best-in-class,remote client serviceSupporting client onboarding and the implementation and integration of accounting and other CRM, MRP, ERP, and e-commerce marketplace SaaS systemsYou are very comfortable with change and adapt quickly when priorities change.
