Head of AI Practice in NovaPay

We are currently inviting a specialist to join our team. for the position of "Head of AI Practice"

Our expectations:

• experience in running AI/ML solutions in production;
• ability to embed AI into the work of existing teams and processes;
• skills for working with highly loaded or financial systems;
• experience in standardizing the AI stack in the company;
• deep understanding of GenAI and LLM (RAG solutions, embeddings, vector databases);
• expertise in MLOps, CI/CD for ML and model lifecycle management.

Will be a plus:

• experience in fintech, payments, fraud or AML;
• experience in interaction with regulators and audits;
• skills for migration of PoC solutions to industrial operation;
• experience in AI cost optimization.

Main tasks:

• determining optimal ML/AI/GenAI solutions, taking into account open-source, commercial products, cloud and on-prem technologies;
• making strategic decisions regarding the build vs buy vs adapt approach for AI solutions;
• forming a single company AI stack for the unification of technologies and processes;
• designing production-ready AI architecture with integration into existing systems (core, payments, anti-fraud, CRM);
• ensuring scalability, reliability and fault tolerance of AI solutions;
• embedding AI into the work of product and IT teams, instead of creating separate "AI islands";
• transferring models and processes to support teams to ensure their autonomy;
• establishing development standards, deployment and exploitation of AI models;
• building end-to-end MLOps to control the life cycle of models;
• quality control of models in production through monitoring, retraining and drift management;
• integration of AI into business processes: anti-fraud, AML, classification, scoring and decision automation;
• use of GenAI to support internal teams, analytics and automation of documents;
• alignment of AI solutions with security and regulatory requirements, ensuring the explainability and audit of solutions;
• formation of AI technical standards and code/model review at the architectural level;
• mentoring of technicalleaders and ensuring the measurable AI effect for business;
• responsibility for the real business effect of AI solutions and a unified technological approach.
