Main tasks:
- Maintain and consolidate the company’s accounting books according to the statutory regulations
- Manage tax accounting in accordance with UA tax legislation
- Preparation and submission of statutory financial, statistic and tax reports
- Payroll calculation, preparation reports to the Tax Office by Social Tax, Military Tax and by PIT; (HR documentation preparation is excluded)
- VAT calculations and reporting, VAT liabilities administration registration of tax invoices is included;
- Corporate income tax calculation and Corporate Tax reporting (tax differences accounting is included)
- Coordinate report submission on controlled transactions (transfer pricing notification)
- Reconciliation of Management and Local books
- Prepare Statutory and Tax reports and submit them to State Authorities
- Ensure proper documentation support as per Tax code for all accounting entries
- Provide consulting on taxation matters to other departments (Customer Development, Customer Service and Logistics, Marketing, HR and others), including agreements review
- Participation in month closing (Accruals for payroll, fixed expenses, deferred expenses/assets, CIT calculation and posting, Tax reporting to the Corporate, GL reconciliation)
- Development and implementation of activity for improving of accounting in reporting processes
Skills and requirements:
- High degree in economics, finance, accounting
- Knowledge of national accounting standards
- Knowledge and application practice of the Tax code of Ukraine
- Chief accountant position experience starting from 2 years, experience in accounting -from 5 years, preferably in international Companies
- Knowledge and experience with export/import business activity
- Experience of working with non-residents, including royalties, intercompany contracts, dividend payments, and repatriation taxes.
- PC literacy: preferably SAP (other ERP experience is also acceptable), 1C, MS Office
- English- from Basic to Intermediate level
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be proactive, prompt, precise and oriented on problem-solving
- Team management skills is a must
