Chief accountant in IFF

Company Overview: 

An international company is seeking an experienced, responsible, and proactive Chief Accountant to manage the financial processes. The role reports to the Ukrainian Finance Country Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting records in accordance with UA GAAP, the Tax Code of Ukraine 
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and CPT report.
• Provide month and closing process on local and corporate level.
• Ensure timely submission of tax and other regulatory filings to governmental authorities.
• Organize and control asset inventories.
• Collaborate with external auditors. 
• Develop and improve internal financial processes.
• Manage two subordinates.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant.
• Knowledge of UA GAAP, the Tax Code of Ukraine 
• Ability to work within a limited time frame, attention to detail.
• Speaking and writing English (Confident B1 or B2), required for working with international partners.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., 1C, SAP, or similar systems).
• Strong leadership skills, ability to work in a team, and effectively organize work processes.
