Features:

Project Management and Reporting

  • Development/contextualization of the GOCA ACTED Ukraine methodology, adapting it to the needs of partners and the SEED project, in particular.
  • Conducting multiple assessments of local partners using the GOCA tool and other assessment tools.
  • Development and implementation of new forms and templates for assessment. 
  • Development and implementation in cooperation with partners of the risk reduction plan. 
  • Identifying training needs of partners and coordinating actions with the Partnership Technical Coordinator, SEED Project Coordinator/Managers, officials to close the gaps.
  • Ensuring all partners have access to training and professional development resources that meet their skills gaps/needs.
  • Conduct and facilitate capacity building activities (trainings, information sessions, instructions, guidance, distribution of materials) and providing feedback to program teams, maintaining clear records and data on all trainings and capacity building sessions.
  • Preparation and conduct of pre- and post-assessment of capacity building trainings to assess the average increase in the level of knowledge among training participants.
  • Collaboration with the technical coordinator of the partnership and monitoring specialists, evaluation and learning (MEL) to ensure that capacity development activities are closely monitored and documented throughout implementation and that measures are taken to continuously improve the performance of activities (including reorientation and adjustment of strategies as necessary). ).
  • Collaboration with local civil society organizations (CSOs), charitable foundations, government agencies, volunteer and self-help groups to propose improvements and program adjustments based on research findings .
  • Providing support in terms of securing additional fundingproject and strategic communication, including information gathering, positioning, proposal development, etc.
  • Ensuring effective project collaboration, coordination to create synergies between programs to achieve maximum impact.< /li>

Logistics

  • Send accurate order forms at the request of the immediate supervisor,
  • Confirm the quality of materials selection, if possible,
  • Ensure proper management and use of assets and project stocks,
  • Proper planning of business trips

Finance

  • Supporting the line manager and providing accurate forecasts,
  • Assist Line Manager and Senior Capacity Development Specialist in forecasting monthly project cash requirements and AC submission.

HR

  • Commitment to continuous learning through training and timely identification of capacity building needs and opportunities, in coordination with line manager/technical staff/HR.

Transparency and compliance

  • Ensuring compliance with internal ACTED and donor procedures,
  • Accurate recordkeeping of project documentation, including photographs and proper storage of meeting minutes, databases, attendance reports, evaluation reports/documents, database review and updates, etc., in hard copy and hard copy.
  • Communicate systematically with Partnership Coordinator/Program Coordinators regarding grant progress, documentation and CSO compliance.

  • Ensure the translation of various documents (for example, reports, protocols, lists of beneficiaries, information plates) at the request of the immediate supervisor
  • Perform any additional task at the request of the immediate supervisor.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience required; Degree in social science,   international development, management or other related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in capacity development project management and training design and delivery, including course/curriculum and materials development
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills. Ability to analyze large volumes of information, evaluate options, think and plan strategically.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (above basic) and applications databases. Experience with formulas, functions and data processing.
  • Experience in writing grant applications and knowledge of project management.
  • Skills in creating presentations and structuring a large amount of information.
  • Self-motivator and proactive problem solver.
  • Flexibility to change and miscalculation of risks.
  • Team player who can work together and with people of different backgrounds.
  • Clear understanding of the Ukrainian context
  • Ability to work both as a consultant and as a practical implementer.
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload and work independently.
  • Working with large audiences, both online and offline, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and working with texts.
  • Professional command of written and spoken English, Ukrainian and/or Russian. Must be able to read and interpret documents and communicate with others as necessary to effectively perform job duties.
