Business Intelligence Analyst in Global University Systems

When you decide to work with GUS, you will be joining an industry leading, global organisation that has a reach in over 150 different countries.Position:The BIA is responsible for communicating with high-level stakeholders (primarily in Finance departments), gathering their requirements, documenting processes and SOWs, then liaising with the technical teams on delivering automated solutions for the business.Communicates with and manages expectation of senior management and other stakeholdersCreates project plan, functional and potentially technical documentation for the development team, then prepares project status reports and presents project performance updates to relevant business stakeholders.Suggests improvements/best practices and takes ownership of implementing them.Works with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing.Creates risk mitigation strategies to anticipate, assess and resolve project risks as they are encountered.Ensures all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company.Maintains knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment.Requirements:Degree in Business/Project Management, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 5 Years of experience in Data management, project management or a related fieldExemplary communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teamsStrong project management and organizational skillsExperience producing software development scope/specification documentation/functional requirementsVery strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to learn quickly and work with best practicesEnthusiastic, self-motivated, self-starter and maintains positive attitude.Excellent time management and organizational skills; coordinate complex projects, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyGood understanding of relational databasesGood understanding of financial & accounting concepts, processes and systemsOptional but preferred experience/knowledge of a software or programming environment:SQL, Power BI, Power Query/M, DAX, PythonExperience in Finance industry is preferableSalesforce or other major CRM experienceOther information:We acknowledge receipt of your resume for a position at Global University Systems and sincerely appreciate your interest in our company.We will screen all applicants and select candidates whose qualifications meet our requirements.
