About the role: As a Business Analyst, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Responsibilities: Ensure stakeholders' engagement and effective collaboration Plan, estimate, and perform Business Analysis activities within all SDLC stages Define business needs and objectives Define the most applicable elicitation approach and use appropriate techniques and ensure effective usage of techniques Work with all requirements types throughout the whole life cycle: from the idea to the acceptance and maintenance. Ensure requirements quality on the projectModel requirements by using the most applicable notation according to the project needsDefine Information Architecture for project documentation within the projectDefine or contribute to the solution roadmap definitionDefine and manage the solution scope to avoid scope creepManage the backlog: from the definition of “ how” to its execution, perform backlog prioritization and refinement Define Change management procedure Collaborate closely with the development team Ensure requirements quality on the project Facilitate Agile ceremonies according to the chosen development methodology and ensure their effectiveness Define Business Analysis approaches and processes from scratch and implement ongoing improvements to the existing onesRequirements:Ability to continuously collaborate with business stakeholders and build trusted, long-lasting and effective relationshipsAbility to facilitate analysis workshops with attendees from diverse backgrounds, varying skill sets and levels of seniorityAbility to communicate the needs, priorities and concerns of business stakeholders on their behalf in a highly-informed and trusted way Ability to analyze complex situations, environments or systems and form an informed, evidence-based assessment and recommendation Ability to describe the business benefit of business change activities Knowledge and practical experience of the following activities, including the practices, methodologies, frameworks and tools to undertake these: Review, understand, articulate, capture and assess business strategy (preferable/ideal)Discover, model, describe and measure business models, operations and capabilitiesElicit, analyse and manage business and technical needs, requirements and constraintsDiscover, model, analyse and optimise business processesDiscover, model, analyse and assess business dataIdentify, consider and describe major business change issues and activitiesEstimate effort required for Business Analysis activities and validate the estimates of others (non BA, e.g. Development)Validate conformance of proposed solutions to business needs and requirementsValidate correctness of delivered solutions to business needs and requirementsComfortable undertaking Business Analysis activities in:Custom software development projects and settingsOff-the-shelf, SaaS and third party delivered solution projects and settingsIn Agile delivery projectsIn non-Agile (waterfall) projectsKnowledge of multiple of the following business domains: (1) Professional Services/Delivery Management, (2) Enterprise Service Management/Business Process Management/Workflow, (3) Sales, (4) Marketing, (5) HR, (6) Recruitment [1-2 strongly preferred; 3-6 beneficial]Desirable:Relevant degree-level education (business or IT)IIBA CCBA or equivalent highly desirePersonal skills:Effective and comfortable in fluid situations and able to deal with high degrees of ambiguity (initially)Positive attitude, can-do mindset, high energy and a self-starterA sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking mannerAbility to work in an unstructured and high-pressure environment, and bring order to this within their sphereUnderstands and balances long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectivesA high degree of accountability and a track record of delivering on commitmentsWhat's in it for you?Care: your mental and physical health is our priority.
