Business Analyst (AI/HR-Tech) in Careerswift

About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to help transform business ideas into clear, actionable requirements that development teams can confidently deliver. In this role, you’ll partner closely with business stakeholders, Product Owner, Solution Architect, Tech Lead, QA, and engineering teams to ensure solutions are aligned with real business needs and deliver measurable value.

Your Mission
Ensure business needs are clearly defined, agreed, and translated into IT solutions that create tangible, measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
• Elicit, analyze, structure, and formalize business requirements from internal stakeholders.
• Define and document functional and non-functional requirements for systems and product features.
• Produce high-quality specifications including user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain, refine, and keep requirements up to date throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and clarity.

Business Process Management
• Analyze and model business processes (AS-IS / TO-BE) to support product and system improvements.
• Identify inefficiencies, risks, gaps, and opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Align proposed process changes with business owners and technical teams, ensuring feasibility and shared understanding.

Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Solution Architect, Tech Lead, engineering, and QA to align scope, priorities, and delivery approach.
• Actively participate in refinement, planning, demos, and other team ceremonies to support smooth delivery.
• Consult the development team on business rules, edge cases, workflows, and prioritization to reduce ambiguity and rework.

Delivery Support & Validation
• Support the team during implementation by clarifying requirements and managing changes effectively.
• Participate in feature validation and acceptance, ensuring delivered functionality meets agreed requirements.
• Help ensure consistency between implemented solutions, business expectations, and documented requirements.

Documentation & Transparency
• Create and maintain business documentation that is clear, accessible, and stakeholder-friendly.
• Ensure transparency of requirements, decisions, and changes for all relevant stakeholders across the delivery process.

Must-Have Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects.
• Experience in product and/or enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.
• Strong practical skills in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining:
– User Stories
– Use Cases
– Acceptance Criteria
• Basic knowledge of BPMN and/or UML (ability to read and create basic diagrams).
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs (ability to communicate effectively with engineers).
• Strong ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing requirements in a structured way.
• Analytical, structured thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at different levels.
• Comfort working with uncertainty and evolving problem statements.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Domain experience in AI/ HR-Tech.
• Experience working with high-load and/or transactional systems.
• Practical experience with ClickUp (or similar tools).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
