We are seeking a talented and energetic Business Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and technical writing skills, with a strong command of the English language. This role involves gathering and specifying business requirements for the tech team, focusing on data collection from various global data providers and brokers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global data providers and brokers to gather and clarify business requirements;
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for the tech team;
- Manage feature change requests and product scope to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations;
- Drive the specification of business features related to data storage and integration;
- Lead communication efforts with stakeholders to ensure all details are accurately understood and documented;
- Work closely with the Product Manager, Business and global software engineering teams on a daily basis;
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.?
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as BA;
- Ability to understand and explain technical requirements and manage stakeholders' needs and expectations;
- Experience working with databases (experience with SQL);
- Experience using and understanding API Documentation;
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with third-party Data Providers, negotiate new services, and own communication on technical issues during the integration period;
- Minimum Upper-Intermediate spoken/written English;
- Critical thinking and effective problem-solving with attention to detail;
- Technical writing skills;
- Practical knowledge of JIRA and Confluence;
- Familiarity with Slack, MS 365 (Excel, Teams), and diagramming tools (Miro, Draw io, etc.);
- European time zone.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in the Fintech domain;
- Experience with UML/BPMN;
- Experience with API tools (e.g. Postman);
- Experience with AWS Athena;
- Software Engineering/QA background.
