Big Data Engineer in Vodafone Ukrayina

• Definition of external and internal sources of big data for analytical work
• Building effective processes for obtaining and pipeline processing of large volumes of data from heterogeneous data sources, development of methods and regulations of the necessary ETL processes
• Development of models data adapted to big data technologies
• Development of the necessary analytical reports, sections and aggregates of big data
• Evaluation of the relevance of data sets to the subject industry and tasks of analytical works
• Management of the life cycle of data (processes of acquisition, placement, storage, distribution, migration, archiving and deletion of big data)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in building data warehouses and data mining, processing and transformation processes based on MPP architecture
• Practical experience with SQL, Oracle
< li>Knowledge of Java or Python for process automation
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Elasticsearch
• Understanding building distributed clusters such as Spark, Hadoop
• Understanding building and experience working with data governance tools
• Experience building and using data analytics and data science wokbench
• Experience working with database schema design and dimensional data modeling
• Knowledge of UNIX with experience using Shell for automation tasks

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of Redis DB, MongoDB
• Experience in working with DBMS for analyzing big data such as Vertica, Exadata
• Understanding and experience in working with systems message brokers such as Kafka
• Knowledge and understanding of OLAP technologies
