BI Analyst in Ajax Systems

We are currently looking for a Data Analytics Specialist to build automated reports and pipelines and help businesses make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Data collection and retrieval: databases, ERP, Google Sheets, API
• Data cleaning and transformation: Data Cleaning/Wrangling
• Creation of reports and dashboards
• Data visualization: ability to choose the right visualizations for effective information transfer
• Operational business support: responses to ad-hoc requests from departments and support of report consumers
• Documentation: description of analysis methodologies, data sources, logic of KPI calculations
• Report automation: automation of regular reporting and reduction of manual operational work of the pipeline with the help of ETL tools or scheduler functions in BI tools.

Requirements:

• Deep SQL analysis: Writing complex queries using JOIN, CTE, window functions to get the necessary selections
• Building data pipelines and ETL processes: Design and implementation of reliable processes for loading, transforming and loading data from various sources into a single storage (data warehouse, data lake)
• Working with cloud platforms: experience with Google BigQuery, Databricks
• Data Storytelling: the ability not just to show a graph, but to tell a convincing story based on data that leads to specific business solutions. Includes structuring presentations and communication.
• Knowledge of Power BI6: Tech Steck: SQL, PowerBI, Google BigQuery, Databricks, Python
